ASSIGNMENT 5: INFOGRAPHIC

You are creating an information graphic. Everything including topic, typography, colors, style, etc, is all up to you. The only constant is that your finished piece has to represent some quantitative information and represent data gathered by you.

Objectives:
1) Your ability to analyze and interpret data.
2) Your ability to find graphic solutions for quantitative information.
3) Your ability to successfully communicate information.

Process:
1. Pick a subject (can be anything that comes to your head).
2. Do a research on the selected topic, gather data that you can later lay out.
Ex. you can send out a survey via surveymonkey.com which is completely anonymous. You can ask up to 10 questions and get Yes and No answers or you can have people answer in complete sentences, up to you).
4. FInd appropriate swipe.
3. Pick your layout, set up, organization of data.
4. Pick your colors.
5. Develop a set of icons that would represent your data.

You are expected to have a finished infographic and be ready to present by next class. You may bring in previous drafts if you find it necessary or relevant for discussion. Please post the progress on your personal blog and comment on each other’s work.
